As many of you know, I helped Bob Bradshaw for several years with the Teen Court Program at Tampa Prep. And up here in New Hampshire we don't have a similar program, but we do have Harvard, which invited our students to participate in a mock trial to help train their 2nd and 3rd year law school students. Where was it held? Boston! One of the best things about teaching up here in New England is that you can easily find excuses to get into the city.
The kids had a great time and were witness to a professionally prepared murder case presided over by a real judge.
The weather on that day was the coldest day Boston has seen all year, and the wind was whipping around the building in gusts that measured below zero. Still, we were in Boston! It's a big step up from my field trips to the Scientology Headquarters in Clearwater. :)
